Catch our Rising Stars...
This season, eight newly-launched brands are in the running for our coveted Rising Star Award. Meet the innovative contenders...
Boody Baby
This season, Bamboo eco-wear brand Boody is launching a babywear range, Boody Baby.
Its debut collection features chic basics (think tops, bottoms, onesies, bibs and wraps) in 100% organic bamboo yarn, which is soft, hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial and chemical free.
Charlotte Mathieu
Charlotte Mathieu specialises in soft, bamboo-jersey babywear. Manufactured in Britain, its newborn sets are supremely comfortable; vests have been designed without sideseams (which can irritate sensitive skin), while suits and babygrows feature cross-over fastenings and nickel-free poppers.
Little Lord and Lady
Expect clean lines and a heritage feel from Little Lord and Lady's debut collection, which comprises affordable, luxury clothing and accessories. The range features a variety of colourways, with different garments available in each theme.
Noook
Originally created for the Design Museum, eco-friendly archi-toy Noook allows children to build structures big enough to play inside. Each kit comprises interlocking cardboard pieces, which are cross-laminated and surprisingly tough.
Scrubbingtons
New brand Scrubbintons has developed a range of fun, child-friendly toiletries, which encourage little ones to wash themselves. Its 98% natural body and face washes are magically foaming, while bottles can be squeezed with one hand.
Snug
Portuguese newcomer Snug creates coordinating home-and-baby textiles, which are designed to meet the needs of busy modern parents. Innovative touches (duvet covers won't slip off in the night, while blankets can be used in car-seats) make its products practical as well as beautiful.
The Make Department
Launched by experienced designers Jerome Keane and Susana de Dios, The Make Department is set to showcase a debut collection of cool, modern essentials for urban children. Expect classic cuts, fun slogans and high-quality materials...
Bebe BomBom
Bebe BomBom's luxury babywear is designed and manufactured with sustainability firmly in mind. Its first collection features onesies, dungarees, sleepsuits and accessories in premium fabrics, with plenty of nods to founder Johanna's Spanish heritage.
