B&S meets...Olivia Wayne

Last season, we launched Bubble Bump, a unique new showcase for maternity and nursery brands. The area is set to make a welcome return this January - and we've been on the look out for maternity-style inspiration. Enter Sky Sports presenter Olivia Wayne, who is currently expecting baby number one - and a dab-hand at dressing her bump to impress!

Olivia, you're pregnant with your first baby. How prepared are you, and how has your pregnancy been?

My pregnancy has been really good and I can’t complain at all. Other than some heartburn and feeling a little nauseous at times, it has been pretty smooth sailing. I've exercised throughout and worked until 3 weeks before my due date, so I'm feeling good (and ready for a few weeks of TV and naps!)

In terms of being prepared - I feel I have all the bits in place, and am starting to get the final items I will need for when my baby arrives. I'm just not sure the fact that I'm going to have a baby soon has properly sunk in!

Do you have a preganancy 'look'? What are your must-haves, and go-to brands?

My go-to maternity brands have been Seraphine Maternity, Belly Bandit and Isabella Oliver. The Belly Bandit under garments and support vests, leggings, and back belts have really been staples in my wardrobe, and have made me feel secure and supported as my body changes.

Seraphine Maternity and Isabella Oliver really have the most gorgeous, comfortable clothes, which make you feel in touch with fashion whilst accommodating the changing shape of your body - and your growing bump. I have so many Serpahine tops and dresses, and their denim all-in-one jumpsuit gets lots of compliments.

Isabella Oliver dresses have been my entire work wardrobe. They make amazing stretchy dresses, and again gorgeous jumpsuits, and boyfriend jeans.

I'm also partial to a bit of oversized Zara! I'd say my look has changed during pregnancy, as I used to focus on a nipped-in waist, and tucking things into to high-waisted trousers.... I currently have no waist!

What brands and products are in your hospital bag?

My hospital bag itself is amazing! It's by Tiba & Marl, and will become the baby's changing bag - but I couldn't resist using it already. It's very chic. I have some Rosie for Autograph button down pyjamas, UGG slippers, Cake Maternity nursing bras, ByTerry Baume de Rose lip-balm, Bounce Balls for energy and snacking - and then plenty of unglamourous items like giant maternity pads!

Have you been researching baby brands? Have your friends and family recommended any particular labels?

I've done loads of research into baby brands, and have plenty of friends and family who have recommended amazing items. The must-haves, it seems, are aden + anais muslins, which are so soft and a great size for all purposes! I have gone for a Babybay bedside cot bed for my little man to sleep in, an iCandy buggy, a Nuna iSize carseat, Ergobaby carrier, Babybjorn bouncy chair, Medela products - and then so many gorgeous clothing brands.

And have you come across any interesting baby brands along the way? If so, how and where?

Instagram has been amazing for finding new baby brands which I wouldn't have heard of otherwise. I have got loads from Organic Zoo (such special products made with organic cotton) Baby Mori, Didi & Bud, Lulujo, Blade & Rose - and then plenty of great online shops including Greenberry Kids and Fancy Kids. I actually need to slow down!

Have you started decorating the nursery?

We are in the process of moving house (great timing!), so currently living at my in-laws (which has been amazing!). The nursery is on hold until we move into our new house. I do, however, have a style and theme in mind - it will definitely be gender neutral (even though I am having a boy) with greys, whites and lovely textures. Watch this space!

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, Olivia! Keep us posted!
