Anorak's Drawing Imaginarium

Last season, Anorak brought one of its trademark colouring floors to Bubble - and, when we heard that the happy mag was hosting a 'drawing imaginarium' at Yorkshire Sculpture Park this weekend, we decided to head down for some more creative fun...

Launched to celebrate Anorak's tenth birthday, the event was a two-day crafting and drawing extravaganza. Little ones had the chance to 'draw what they saw' with artist Inma Lorente, create paper outfits for 'best pals' Pam and Tom, and even fill an Anorak Aquarium, designed by students from the Leeds College of Arts

The fun spilled out into YSP's beautiful (if rainy!) grounds, where kids got creative with Arnold the Anorak Idea Generator. At two-metres-tall, this dapper chap cut an imposing figure - but designer Ollie Silvester assured us he was friendly....

The free event was supported by Arts Council and Paperchase, and will be coming to East London's Old Truman Brewery on 23 and 24 April. Happy tenth birthday, Anorak!
